While Hillsboro’s Old Stone School is closed for the fire repairs, the HCA is taking this time to make necessary repairs and renovations to the structure of the building, including the roof, gutters, and windows, as well as painting. Hillsboro ’s Old Stone School
The original name of the school was Locust Grove Academy. The oldest part of the building, the east wing, where the fire occurred, was built in 1874. Read more...About the HCA
The HCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and maintaining Hillsboro’s Old Stone School. Funds to help fulfill this charter come from membership fees, rental fees, and donations.
