Why become a member?
Become a member of the HCA to help preserve the most enduring structure in Hillsboro, the Old Stone School…the center of our community. And, when you help maintain the Old Stone School, you also help support our community by giving us a place to hold our community events and gatherings. Your membership and donations are tax deductible. And this year, when you join or renew your membership, you'll be entitled to a 10% discount when you rent the Old Stone School!
Who can become a member?
Anyone can become a member of the Hillsboro Community Association; you don’t need to live in Hillsboro to be a member. Residents of Hillsboro, in particular, are encouraged to become members to help preserve and maintain the building that is the center of our community and helps bring us together at events throughout the year.
Dues and donations
Family dues are currently $15 per year. Donations are always welcome. Click here for the 2009 Membership and Donation Form. Please make out your check to The Hillsboro Community Association, and mail your completed form and check to:

Monthly meetings
The Hillsboro Community Association meets the last Thursday of each month (except December) at The Old Stone School at 7:30 p.m. All are welcome.
Annual meeting
The annual meeting of the HCA is held every April. See our events page for more information about the 2009 Annual event.

Hillsboro ’s Old Stone School
The original name of the school was Locust Grove Academy. The oldest part of the building, the east wing, where the fire occurred, was built in 1874. Read more...About the HCA
The HCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and maintaining Hillsboro’s Old Stone School. Funds to help fulfill this charter come from membership fees, rental fees, and donations. In addition to funds, volunteer contributions of time and talent over the years have also helped the HCA work toward these goals. Read more...Thank you for all of your support!
