Celebrate "Spring at Hillsboro's Old Stone School," April 18
Celebrate the people who have contributed to the rich history of Hillsboro 's Old Stone School , and celebrate this treasured building which was saved from being demolished almost 35 years ago and beautifully restored after the 2008 fire. Our Spring celebration will include a performance by Maddy Curtis and the first annual Old Stone School reunion. Reservations are required! The event is free, but space is limited. To reserve your seat, email contact@HillsboroVa.com or call 540-668-7738. Please provide your name, number of seats, and contact information. First Annual Old Stone School Reunion, April 18

This year's Christmas in Hillsboro Homes Tour will be a walking tour, featuring homes within the Hillsboro town limits. To make the decorations with fresh greens for each of the homes on the tour, we will have a greens workshop on December 5. Watch for more details!

Other Events at the Old Stone School
Bluegrass & Folk Music Jam, March 26
Doors open at 6p. Suggested donation is $5.00, and children are free. There will be BBQ dinner by Savoir Fare, a cash bar (beer, wine), desserts, snacks, soda, and great music - bluegrass, folk, and celtic! Proceeds benefit Genesis International. In their 7th year, the jams are ideal for musicians and music lovers of all ages. Visitors are welcome to bring an instrument and join in! We are thrilled to announce that the HCA is partnering with Run Rabbit Run Theatre to hold plays, musicals, and classes at the Old Stone School ! The first production will be held December 3-19 with an original musical adaptation of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. This classic Christmas tale will thrill you all over again in Once Upon A CHRISTMAS CAROL, an adaptation that promises to keep Dickens's language and humor the way Scrooge promises to keep Christmas forevermore! With a script by prize-winning playwright Meredith Bean McMath and original music by Diane El-Shafey, Run Rabbit Run Theatre is proud to announce the premiere of this original work.
