First Annual Old Stone School Reunion, April 18
The Hillsboro Community Association (HCA) and the Town of Hillsboro joined together to host the first annual Old Stone School Reunion! It was part of the HCA's "Spring at Hillsboro's Old Stone School" event held April 18."Spring at Hillsboro's Old Stone School" is a celebration of the people who have contributed to the rich history of Hillsboro's Old Stone School, and to celebrate this treasured building which was saved from being demolished almost 35 years ago and beautifully restored after the 2008 fire.

Hillsboro ’s Old Stone School
The original name of the school was Locust Grove Academy. The oldest part of the building, the east wing, where the fire occurred, was built in 1874. Read more...About the HCA
The HCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and maintaining Hillsboro’s Old Stone School. Funds to help fulfill this charter come from membership fees, rental fees, and donations.
