Hundreds of people joined us for our annual Independence Day Celebration on Saturday July 2, 2011. Here is what people who joined us enjoyed at our small town celebration:
Thank you to Boy Scout Troop 961, Zurschmeide Contracting, along with all of our volunteers...it takes more than 60 volunteers to hold our celebration, and we couldn't do it without your help!

Hillsboro’s Old Stone School
The original name of the school was Locust Grove Academy. The oldest part of the building, the east wing, where the fire occurred, was built in 1874. Read more...About the HCA
The HCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and maintaining Hillsboro’s Old Stone School. Funds to help fulfill this charter come from membership fees, rental fees, and donations.
