Serious damages to the historic Old Stone School (OSS), critical infrastructure needs, and increasing maintenance and energy costs have tapped our reserve funds. We need to raise $130,000 (and that doesn't include the $9,000 for our Independence Day Celebration). Please help us! Become a Friend of the Old Stone School.

Boy Scout Troop 961 Projects Help Improve the Old Stone School
While we work on major repairs and renovations to the Old Stone School , even more improvements are being made through Eagle Scout projects undertaken by scouts in Troop 961. A couple of years ago, Bret Geyer built the sign in front of the building. More recently, Josh Clarke built a storage shed for the tables and chairs. John Hayes just finished replacing the access ramp from the driveway to the front sidewalk. Jake Hitchcock is going to install three flag poles in the front of building and use the bricks people have purchased through the HCA Memories and Milestones Brick fundraiser for that project. We are proud to be home to Boy Scout Troop 961. They are wonderful stewards of the building and we are grateful that they are always willing to help with our projects and events.
